I am a feminist medical and sociocultural anthropologist and associate professor of anthropology at the University of Arizona.

My research focuses on migration/mobility, community health, environmental justice, psychosocial wellbeing, and food and water insecurity.

I conduct ethnographic and community-based collaborative research primarily in the borderlands of the US Southwest and the central Mediterranean.
